Thinking about this takes me back to me dissertation days where I researched Seligman's theory of well-being (PERMA):
Positive Emotion
Engagement
Relationships
Meaning
and Accomplishment
For me, creating helps me get into a state of flow which helps reduce stress, and going to an art group has been great for social connection too. Moreover, the benefits of nature (be it 'green space' or 'blue space' whatever you prefer) on mental health are also well evidenced. Being outside can be really calming, and whether its going for a walk or sitting in the fresh air can be a huge sense of achievement.

Even more the better when combining creativity and nature. I'm thinking leaf printing! What ideas have you got?
