Email counselling

Email counselling offers a flexible, confidential way to explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. Writing can be naturally therapeutic, giving you a safe space to reflect without pressure or judgment.

How it works

  • Send up to 1,000 words per session

  • I dedicate one hour to your therapeutic response

  • Replies sent within 24–48 hours

  • My comments appear beneath your message in a different colour

  • All communication is via encrypted ProtonMail in line with BACP guidelines

Each email exchange acts as a mini counselling session. I will respond with reflections, supportive guidance, and questions to help deepen your understanding. You choose what you feel ready to respond to.

Pricing
  • £40 per session

  • 6-session bundle: £216 (10% discount, valid for 6 months)

  • Payment required via BACs or PayPal before the therapeutic response

  • Brief enquiries are free

Why choose email counselling

No appointment times—write when it suits you Privacy and uninterrupted space to express yourself Time to reflect before replying Option to save, print, or delete emails

Please note

Email counselling is not suitable for crisis situations, including ongoing suicidal thoughts or self-harm.

Safeguarding Policy

At Klewes Counselling, your safety and wellbeing always come first. I am committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all clients, including children, young people and adults at risk.

I follow UK safeguarding legislation and the BACP Ethical Framework, and I take action whenever there is a concern about harm, neglect, or abuse. Confidentiality is respected at all times, but may be broken if there is a significant risk to you or someone else. Any information shared is limited to what is necessary and only with the appropriate services that can help keep you safe.

If a safeguarding concern arises, I follow a clear procedure that includes assessing risk, seeking supervision, keeping accurate records, and contacting the relevant safeguarding services where required.

Your trust matters deeply. Safeguarding is part of creating a counselling space where you can feel secure, heard and supported.
