Safeguarding Policy
At Klewes Counselling, your safety and wellbeing always come first. I am committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all clients, including children, young people and adults at risk.
I follow UK safeguarding legislation and the BACP Ethical Framework, and I take action whenever there is a concern about harm, neglect, or abuse. Confidentiality is respected at all times, but may be broken if there is a significant risk to you or someone else. Any information shared is limited to what is necessary and only with the appropriate services that can help keep you safe.
If a safeguarding concern arises, I follow a clear procedure that includes assessing risk, seeking supervision, keeping accurate records, and contacting the relevant safeguarding services where required.
Your trust matters deeply. Safeguarding is part of creating a counselling space where you can feel secure, heard and supported.
