The power of being truly listened to
We can often feel half-heard in our day-to-day lives, rushed conversations (yeah, you?) and polite nods. However, counselling is different:

You get space to pause, stumble, rethink, ramble, or sit in silence without anyone jumping in to “fix” you.
You’re not judged: your feelings, thoughts, fears and contradictions are all welcome.
You’re not competing for airtime or shrinking yourself to make others comfortable.
You’re truly understood, not just the words you say, but the meaning underneath them.
You feel felt: that quiet moment when someone “gets” you without you needing to explain everything perfectly.
Being listened to can be the first step toward feeling like yourself again
